BioI was born and raised in a very small village where there are barely 600 people. I am the youngest of 4 and was a surprise for everyone. Mum had given up having kids for a few years when she got pregnant with me. My family consists of Mum, Dad, and 3 older brothers. You’d think I’d be a tomboy growing up in such household but no, I always been a girly girl.
Dad always been very old fashion and I was not allowed to date until I turned 16. I was also overprotected by my brothers, especially Sean. My brothers are, in order, John 39, Sean 34 and Kevin 32 and here I am, almost 20. If any boy would approach me, Sean made sure he knew what he was getting into, which all scared them away until I put my foot down… well not really; I just started sneaking out…
I now live in the Capital of Newfoundland; St-John’s and goes to MUN (Memorial university of Newfoundland). I study Folklore and music. I always have been surrounded by music in my house. Mum played piano, Dad played banjo and guitar, John plays drum, Kevin piano and Sean plays Bordhan, guitar and sings. I have been taking fiddle lesson since I was strong enough to hold one; I picked up bodhran a year ago and am starting to scratch the guitar. I also sing a little.
I live with my brother Sean and since he sometimes looks at my LJ some entries will be friend only.
I also work in an Irish Pub where I can hear great music, meet wonderful people and get a little pocket money!
I don’t often update since my schedule is quite hectic!
